Meet Our Team
OUR ALLEY CAT FAMILY
Hello, my name is Linda and I'm one of the receptionists at Alley Cat Small Animal Hospital. I have worked at Alley Cat since July 2005. I worked at another animal hospital in Vallejo for seven years prior to coming to Alley Cat.
I have the cutest most lovable Chihuahuas and Labs and two cute, really sweet cats. . . they are my babies. I love animals and I enjoy seeing all the pets that come in to Alley Cat. I think I have one of the best jobs because I get to see all the babies come in and grow up into beautiful animals. I also see pets come in when they are sick and I get to watch them go home feeling much better!
Hi, I am Denise and I provide nutrition support for Alley Cat Small Animal Hospital every Tuesday.
I grew up in North San Diego County happily immersed in rural life surrounded by horses, dogs and cats. I worked part time in a veterinary clinic while attending school. This experience greatly increased my love for companion pets and my respect for the human animal bond. Upon graduation I set out on a corporate career path that serendipitously led me to the field of small animal nutrition where I remained for 20+ years. I am pleased to have joined Alley Cat in March 2008. "Let nutrition be your first medicine." Hippocrates.
Hi, I’m Catalina but my friends call me Cathy. I live in beautiful
I started working at Alley Cat in May of 2005 and hope to stay here for many more years. I’m a receptionist and enjoy my work, especially since I get to see all sorts of different pets. I’m bilingual which really helps — I truly love interacting with all our clients and helping to keep their pets healthy.
I also have a cat of my own. I call her Gypsy. She is pure black and just turned four years old. Gypsy is beautiful and when I pet her she gets so happy she drools. . . Oh well, what can I do, I love her anyway!
I enjoy taking pictures of all the pets that come in so if I still haven’t taken a picture of your furry friend, let me know next time you’re visiting us.
Hope to see you soon!
Hi I'm Rebecca and I live with a whole herd of animals, including seven dogs, five cats and Abby my Columbian Red Tail boa. Along with the menagerie, I share my home with my beautiful little daughter, Emily.
I have been working with animals for as long as I can remember. I worked at animal shelters, wildlife centers and even a ranch but I always come back to veterinary medicine.
I have been with Alley Cat for only a short time but I love working with the staff and have learned a lot. Our job is serious and we maintain our professionalism but we still manage to have a lot of fun. I plan to become a registered technician in the future
but currently I'm working hard at becoming a caring kennel assistant and look forward to becoming a great receptionist. I can't wait to see you and your pets here at Alley Cat!
See ya then. . .
Hi, I'm Robert. I've been working at Alley Cat since December 2006, almost three years already . . . it's great. I love my job helping everyone as an Animal Caretaker.
I'm 21
and incredibly good looking. I play guitar and I'm also in a band. We play shows periodically around the Napa Valley. I may be looking into going to college to study something in music, whether as a recording artist or just to better myself as a musician.
Well, that's all I can think to write, right now, so I will see you either in the exam rooms or when I bring your friend up front !
Hi, I'm Debbie and I work as a Technician in the treatment area of the hospital. I enjoy working with animals and have been doing it for over thirty years. I have taken several behavioral classes and enjoy working with different clients and their
pet's behavioral problems.
I have a houseful of animals, four dogs and three cats. . . luckily they are small and all get along!
Hello, I'm Jane and I have worked at Alley Cat since June 2007. I am especially pleased to be working with a group of truly ethical and dedicated individuals. It's refreshing to be part of a team when clients and their pet's needs always come first.
Before working at Alley Cat I worked a variety of positions, everything from working in the stock market to working for a national non profit organization. In my personal life, I have always been surrounded by cats, dogs and horses. When I was a kid my only source of transportation was my horse. We flew across the desert, swam through the Rio Grand and generally had a blast. I enjoy people as well as our patients. My door is always open to our clients and their pets, so if something needs attention please feel free to knock on my door.
Hello, my name is Shelley and I am certified Veterinary Technican and work as the Technical Manager at Alley Cat. I am thirty-two years old, married and a very happy person. I am a UC Davis graduate and hold a Bachelors d
egree in Animal Biology. As part of my education at UC Davis, I designed, developed, executed and wrote up a thesis project on the effects of massage therapy on beta–endorphin and cortisol levels in horses. It was an amazing experience.
I came to work at Alley Cat about two years ago to obtain experience necessary to apply to veterinary school. I have stayed here because I feel that this particular hospital is focused on best care; although, I do plan on pursuing my goal of becoming a veterinarian.
Hope to see you at the hospital soon for your pet’s wellness and medical needs plus an abundance of information to help you make the best choices for your pet’s care.
Hi, I’m pleased to meet you and your four legged friend. . .my name is Jessika, that’s right, Jessika with a K! I’m a proud mother of two beautiful children. Well, I guess three if you c
ount my husband.
I have great aspirations, including obtaining my technician license, a goal that I have entertained since I was a young child.
I have been employed at Alley Cat for about 4 years. The reason I started working at Alley Cat was to begin my education in veterinary medicine and obtain the technical skills necessary to be successful in my chosen field.
I have the best job! I get to be there when people bring in a new pet and make it a family member. I get to reassure people when their pet gets sick, that we will do our very best to help the pet, as well as the family, through that tough time. I not only build relationships with the pet but I build a relationship with the family.
These are only some of the reasons why I LOVE my job.
